I began my musical journey as a teenager,
playing guitar and composing in The Hague, the Netherlands.
Yet it took me many years before I truly found my voice.
A turning point came with the discovery of the Celtic Harp – an instrument that
opened a new world of sound and possibility.
Over time, I came to understand that composing, for me, is not about
constructing music alone.
It is about creating a sanctuary: a space to arrive, to rest, and to be still.
I now live in the quiet province of Drenthe, where I dedicate myself entirely
to writing music for the Celtic Harp.
